Tech: Help MP3 player

I have a DV3300 Aiptek digital camera which incorporates an MP3 player. I have downloaded music to the MP3 but when I try to acccess it the screen shows "file empty". (If I connect the MP3 to my PC the music plays via the PC). Any simple solution please?
