I am looking for a way to distribute the weight of my nyckelharpa. I see some instrument straps "Slider" dual straps which cross in the back. http://www.janetdavismusic.com/derek-July.html
I am interested to see if anyone else has had experience with this type of strap or a similar one. Especially with a nyckelharpa. The strap I use goes behind my neck and comes in front of both shoulders, sometimes
cutting off circulation...and causing my fingers to tingle..got to fix that!

i have also seen some contraptions invented by nyckelharpa players that are like vests....or sort of like those lumbar suppport devices worn by folks that do heavy lifting...
