Hi all. Long time no anything. I jilted you for flatpick-l. But now I'm back with my tail between my legs with this question:

The accordeon player in a band I was in many years ago was from Connemara, and his first language was Irish (Gaelic). He used to do a rather well-known song called Colleen Ollen, meaning, as I recall, pretty girl. What is the correct spelling of this title? I found several references on the Web at one time, but apparently I'm not spelling it right any more, because I can't find anything.

All help appreciated.

"Cailín álainn" is about it. Tune is "Mingolay". Written fairly recently by...? from Connemara.

Regards
