Subject: Question re: accordion brand From: GUEST,Margaret V. Date: 19 Jan 07 - 08:03 PM I'm trying to find information about a piano accordion I bought long ago at a Wisconsin garage sale. It's a 120-bass Mason Symphonic. If I had to guess I might say it was circa 1970s, but that's not based on much. I've done many a web search and come up utterly empty-handed looking for accordions made by a Mason brand. My only thought is that perhaps the Mason piano company also made accordions, but I'm grasping at straws there. Can anyone help? Many thanks, Margaret |

Subject: RE: Question re: accordion brand From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 19 Jan 07 - 08:43 PM I have never heard of a 'Mason' brand P/A. Can you arrange to get us a clear photo (preferably with some closeups) on the net to look at please? |

Subject: RE: Question re: accordion brand From: GUEST Date: 20 Jan 07 - 10:01 AM Thanks, Foolestroupe, I appreciate your interest. I'll have to work on the technology of getting pictures up. The good news is that I am getting a digital camera in a week or two so that's a start anyway. It's loud, it's heavy (I just about fall over when I strap it on), it's white mother-of-pearloid, and to my ear it seems reasonably well in tune. Margaret |
