There is at least one other thread that gets the same error message, Harwich International Shanty Festival 15 Oct 2023. We haven't figured out the cause.

Whatever the case, it is not an intentional block. Max is working to fix it.

Well, it might have been the b1tchiness blocker on the Trump thread - I was trying to say that Ivanka's photo looks like it is AI generated in the article I linked to, so let that be a lesson to me!! LOL

I see you got my PM, Stilly, but when I sent it I got an error message and assumed it had not gone.

Just tried again and it is the 500 internal server error. You should get a PM titled testing and if so, messages are working but the response to sender is wrong

BTW, it seems to happen on multiple devices and with multiple browsers so I guess that confirms it is a Mudcat central issue.

If you are still hitting blocks post what the activity is in this thread and we'll pass it on to Max. There are some executive things that have been out (like using some of the drop-down menu settings) that were also hit. There was a disk error that hit a few threads and functions and he's working on those backups now.

Now I'm seeing that some threads appear and are readable but posts won't go through, not even short ones. The Trump thread, the MOAB thread, possibly others.

I haven't landed on any of the music threads that won't go through, but if you're interested in helping identify threads affected by the disk glitch, post the names here and I'll pass them along. If you have to post a test to be sure I can go through later and remove the "test." Thanks!

I was able to transfer the Trump-related remarks over to the Trump thread, but I still got an error message when I tried to do any more. There is some lateral movement, but not helpful for regular posting.

Some of these I can transfer over to those threads, but not post directly. Weird. (I love parsnips! I use them in stew and with pot roast or in roasted vegetables.)

If I try to de-trace a traced thread, I get the 500 server error.
