I will certainly look him up if I go that way in my travels. Now, let me just think, where is it? Isn't it somewhere between London and Perth? Now which Perth is it: UK or Oz?

For I be free to go abroad, Or take again my homeward road ...

Alan

I'll be seeing him. He'll work out of the same dressing room as me. He will be the guitar player in a "Sailor Trio" at "Cape Cod".
The fiddler is Jamie Crawford and the bass player is Tatsume-san. I'm "Cap't Sandy along with Alex McMurray from New Orleans. The other Sailor Trio are Martin Johnson on fiddle, Gary Weiz on guitar and Shigemats Tano on bass. Everyone sings. It's a good gig but there is little or no Trad Music that I have been able to find. We mostly make our own. After six shows a day, you really just want to relax.

He has arrived all safe and sound. He is safely ensconced in his apartment in the E-Village, has had supper and bought some red wine.at the local supermarket.
We played a little music and then he went down to the first of the many orientations that he will be subjected to over the next couple of days. At this point (11pm local time) I would imagine he's about ready for some sleep.

Hi All,
This is The Derby Ram 'ere using Troll's m/c
Thanks for all the well wishes and general messages.
Sorry haven't alot of time just now to write an epistle but will get a round tuit before very long - loads to report as and when. All I can say right now is the whole thing is quite overwlefming (in the most joyful sense)and the people here are terrific in every sense.

Ralphie and Barbara - thanks for the invite to the gig - hope this doesn't really mean my message saying I wouldn't be able to do it of about six weeks ago didn't reach you - but I suspect you're just winding me up (As if!).

Breezy - Thanks for the thanks - but being lucky enough to be able to make a gig by one of my principle mentor was not exactly a chore and it was nice to be back at Snorlbans once again - I had a great time.

Mary - Hugs on tap at first opportunity - but only in the flesh!....:-)

Hope all's well with everybody - keep on poting I'll be back in touch soon - Tra fer nah

There used to be a country song about "wedding a little Geisha Girl dressed in oriental style" Sure this could be adapted for concertina although a little known fact is that Keith is a pretty fair guitar player as well

Hey thanks Banjoman - you're very kind.
I think I'll pass on the marrying a geisha girl if that's ok but that was a thoughtful suggestion too.......:-)

Have a great time Keith! At least you don't have the problem of being tempted to try to retune your instruments to the oriental method of tuning!

Hi Keith, Roy Bailey thought you were an Australian Poet, so I played you back on the video for him and he dont recognise you.I thought you were well known, after all Johnny Collins knows you.
St Albans had 60 in last night , Johnny will pop in on Friday 25th January to check out another of his proteges, Ben Campbell
So what are you having to play and which character must we look out for?
And the weather?
