Although my background is as a Sprinter/Midget racist, anymore I just have to hand it to NASCAR when it comes to competition.

I follow all racist things and love all things racist, but the older I get, the more I think F1 completely sucks. I hated the IRL too at first, but now they have completely blown CART away......much more entertaining.

But a good night at Terra Haute has always been hard to beat.

Personally, I'm a Beatles supremacist.

Although, I did go see Bill Wyman on his book tour when he landed in Nashville last week. I didn't buy the $40 book to stand in line an meet him, but he did some Q&A for awhile, and was very entertaining. It was funny to see someone in person who is seemingly larger than life, and he turns out to be such a regular bloke. The sort of fellow you could have a coupla pints with down at the pub.

Anyway, I still think the Beatles are superior to the Stones.

I like racing radio control sailboats (they're generally about 1 meter in length). It's quite challenging, and they are beatiful and quiet, like real sailboats, and handle according to the same principles.

One thing that would increase the realism would be to crew them with hamsters, so the little beasts could hike out on the windward side when the boat's really moving, but one problem...hamsters are nocturnal and they don't like direct sunlight or water! Too bad.
