Hi Folks,

Apologies to anyone who has been sat by the keyboard patiently awaiting the promised Worlds of Trad April upload. Unfortunately I ran into major computer problems which had me back and forth to the computer technician like a fiddler's elbow, and which meant I've been without a machine for most of the last month.

Anyway, the good news is that the new programme is now finally uploaded and on the air and as always features the very best in traditional folk, ethnic, world, roots, blues, old time country and early jazz; in fact traditional music from absolutely everywhere.

This month there's a cluster of songs and tunes relating to the month of May, some blistering boogie woogie, some lilting, a song to celebrate Packie Byrne's 90th birthday, a few fiddle duets, and lots more besides.

The complete playlist is below. Do please enjoy.

To listen to the programme, go to http://www.live365.com/stations/oneworldmusic
, then click on the yellow speaker button. If you need to, follow the onscreen instructions to download the station player. Then wait a moment or two and the station will be on the air.

Because of the delay in getting this programme sorted, the next upload will now take place on Wednesday May 16th 2007. If, you've crept onto this list by accident and don't want to receive future notifications please let me know. Don't forget, listening is free and I'm always glad to receive requests. You can contact me on Fredlive365@aol.com .

You may also want to look at a MySpace page I've set up for Worlds of Trad. It's at http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=160651486 . Because of the confusion I haven't had chance to do much with it. But it has a few more details plus scans of some of the records, plus some useful websites.

Hope you enjoy it. And please note the threat to Internet radio which is being mounted by the US Copyright Royalty Board. Plenty of information at the Live365 site.
