I got introduced to Tony Bird's music at the beginning of the 1980's. He wrote some fine songs and I heard him at Summerfolk in Owen Sound, Ontario one year, but it's been a long time since I heard anything about him. That probably only means that he hasn't been playing much in the Ontario venues that I am aware of. I recommend going to see him.

Thanks for posting, CET. I agree, Tony gives a fun and interesting concert. I always enjoyed singing harmonies to his best known cuts.
