Subject: Lyr Req: road to maysville From: GUEST,flipper rig Date: 04 Oct 07 - 02:58 PM Hey ya'll My old time band just worked up the beautiful (and slightly crooked, cool) fiddle tune "Road to Maysville" (in "A" for those of you playing along at home...). We copped it from the album "Hey Buddy" by the Tallboys, whoever the heck thay are. Anyway... anyone know if there are lyrics for this sucker? Gratzi. |

The Fiddler's Companion says the tune is also known as OVER THE ROAD TO MAYSVILLE and gives some background. John Hartford recorded it on his album "Wild Hog in the Red Brush," 1996. |
