Subject: RE: Joe Val Festival Framingham near Boston From: open mike Date: 16 Feb 08 - 03:03 PM I see that Skip is in a duo Rabbit in a Log with Skip Gorman and Richard Starkey. He also will be teaching the Mandolin Master Class. yep. |

Subject: RE: Joe Val Festival Framingham near Boston From: Midchuck Date: 16 Feb 08 - 04:28 PM Skip Gorman is too good a singer to be allowed to play mandolin as well as he does, because it shows he's allowing mandolin to distract him from his singing. I went to a workshop Richard Starkey put on at the local music store quite a few years ago. It depressed me. Seeing how much I don't know about playing guitar always depresses me. But I keep going to see exceptional guitarists. I must be a masochist. Peter |
