Hallo everybody..

I have recently attended one of Bernard Carney's Uk gigs - highly recommendable!! Maybe not a true folksinger but a superbly professional performer and entertainer...well played, mate!! :-)
His guitar was , without exception, the best sounding piece of kit I've ever heard (his playing no doubt a major contribution!!) He informed me it's a "De Grouchy" (very possibly wrongly spelt.)Could they be from Oz? I've tried for info on the net, to no avail...anyone know of these?
            All/any info very gratefully received....

             Regards to all......Spot :-)

That'll be Bryan de Gruchy - somewhere around Adelaide if he's still in business.

Try this - http://users.picknowl.com.au/~degruchy/ .

Funnily enough the former teachers' union leader Nigel de Gruchy was often known as 'de Grouchy"!
