I was recently told by Eric & Ray Cowell that they have decided to close Brewhouse Studios. It's very sad because they're lovely people who put their hearts & souls into it. I feel lucky to number them amongst my friends & just want to say thanks for what they've done.

yes ,they are very dedicated ,honest people.
I made two recordings with them.Around the harbour town,which is still available from my website

they have an interesting catalogue,which includes The Shanty Crew,Mollyhawks,and a recording of Frank Kidsons songs.
Eric Cowell is[I believe] the grand nephewof the song collector Frank Kidson.Dick Miles

I understand that they're going to release another album of songs collected by Frank Kidson. Apparently yesterday was the fiftieth anniversary of the day when Ray & Eric purchased their Land Rover which is still going strong.
