Subject: Bacup Easter Saturday From: mikesamwild Date: 15 Mar 10 - 11:28 AM We're stopping off on the way to The lakes to watch the Nutters. Are there any open music or song sessions on Friday night or Saturday that coincide? |
Subject: RE: Bacup Easter Saturday From: mikesamwild Date: 07 Apr 10 - 06:46 AM We found a nice welcoming mixed session at The Flowers on the Todmorden road, on Friday and a great Irish music session at The Crown on Saturday The Nutters were great. I noticed that it's less of a 'folky' focus than when I last went in the &0s and back to a local celebration . Bacup has been through tough times economically y but is undergoing some funded regeneration so 'heritage'and tourism will be on the agenda I expect.. The next Hebden Bridge? |
