Subject: RE: Andy Irvine June 19-Ballydehob, County Cork From: Joe Offer Date: 01 Jun 16 - 03:30 PM Snotty? True. So is posting a critical comment without having the courage to give one's name. I'm trying to break his bad habits. Being other than snotty, didn't seem to help. I've tried being patient for years. From here on in, I'll post the clarifications without the snot, since I ought to be charitable to the illiterate...or obstinate. It's my impression that the original poster has made a years-long habit of being rudely uninformative, posting unattributed copy-pastes and unexplained links, and announcing events while failing to give pertinent details. He had titled the thread Andy Irvine June 19, and I had to change the title to make some sense of it. Why should people in other nations have to open his thread to find out that the event will take place in Ireland? I think the original poster is intentionally annoying, because he wants attention to feed his needy ego. And with that, I will close this thread, hoping the original poster will get the hint that threads need to be started with informative titles and informative initial messages. I have no wish to do battle - I just want the original poster to learn how to start a discussion thread. He's not illiterate - he's just ornery. -Joe Offer- |
