music question. In liner notes for John Jackson's Front Porch Blues, it is mentioned in talking about his father's string band that "John recalls the rhythmic force of that band as his father and uncles performed such tunes as Walk Down The Devil's Stairs at country dances." Can someone point me to that tune? Searching youtube brings up exorcist videos and the like, and I'm not immediately finding it on google searches; I figure it might and probably does go by other names.

I don't know the name. I'm going to try and find out, if a name was known for the band. But it seems like the tune was probably one that was played around generally in the area.
