Subject: What Three Words Folksong Rewrites From: SPB-Cooperator Date: 27 Jul 21 - 08:33 AM The discussion in Problems With Couriers below the line has left me wondering about how the What Three Words app would have on folk songs. For example Around Cape Horn in the month of May would then become Around Around purge.video.foodservice ...... Any more rewrites of the folk tradition? |

Subject: RE: What Three Words Folksong Rewrites From: Black belt caterpillar wrestler Date: 21 Jan 26 - 05:43 PM It suddenly struck me tonight that "what three words" is an excellent song writing resource. On the lines of Brian Eno's random cards, some "what three words addresses are definately able to jog the brain into an unexpected mental picture and thence into a story or else a song. I was researching the history of turnpike roads in Rossendale and came across person.piled.cemented, which made me think about those rumours of bodies being incarcerated in the Chiswick Flyover concrete supports. I soon found other word combinations that seemed to tell a story. Perhaps we could have a "what three words" song competition? Robin |
