The song was recorded by Simani from Newfoundland, of which Bud Davidge was 50%. They stopped touring and recording in the late 90's.

I do have a couple of their albums courtesy of those nice people at iTunes which have the song, but there are some words and passages I can't quite catch.

Anyone know the song and have the lyrics?

I have managed to get the lyrics from the ChordU website. Obviously done with some sort of AI listening tool which does things phonetically, but easy enough to correct while listening to the song.

E.G. AI gave "as session" when the context is clearly "possession".

Bud does a wonderful job of this song. I didn't check, but I'm sure he wrote it as well. I'm not familiar with all of his songs, but the one that I close off all my Senior home gig's with is "Music and Friends". Such a simple song with great feelings.
