Im sad to learn of the death of Paul Child, who frequented Folk Clubs in West Yorkshire and beyond. I made friends with him at Folk at the Grove in Leeds over the years. He sang a range of wonderfull folk songs mostly from the North of England and he sang them in his strong Yorkshire accent, and they were often vey humerous. He will be missed by us all, RIP Paul

O no missed that one ~ Paul was a character and a fine singer of West Yorkshire song ~ a former post man and I believe had had a serious illness a few years ago which he took in his stride

I was sorry to hear of the loss of Paul. He was a fine singer and he will be missed by all his friends and those who know and love him. I have added his name to the "In Memoriam" thread and send my sincere condolences. RIP
