chuck and peggi hemrick,aka the hemrick family singers,will be performing live on a radio broadcast ,from the rex theater in galax ,virginia,friday niht may 12th,8:00-10:00pm edt.the broadcast is heard on radio station wbrf-fm, galax,virginia..98.1 on th fm dial.it is a 100,000 watt station and its sigmnal gets into 4 states.nc/va/tenn/w.va.. the ole-time band is called..the toe-nail gap ole time band. band members:stu shenk,fiddle/aubrey smith,claw hammer banjo/karen surface,bass fiddle and vocal/annie prim,guitar and vocal/chuck hemrick,guitar,dulcimer and vocal/peggi hemrick,basss fiddle,mandolin,and vocal. give us listen ,if you can!!!

MAN! I can't pick up the station here in Jacksonville...you can't pick up much outside NC from here. I could probably get it in Greenville, but I'm not going back there until Tuesday! RATS!

I sure wish this was a national broadcast, because y'all are the REAL THING -- and I'm not being funny, either. Listening to your CD (thank you SO much, Chuck!), your songs and playing took me back to when I was living with my mamaw in Louisiana and she'd sing to me while we shucked peas on the front porch, and Papaw would play his mouth harp. Thank you so much for bringing back those precious memories. Your music is more precious than gold.
