Well, I hate to bring up another TV series so that we can all trash it, but here goes.

TNN is airing a 13 part series on Country Music. The first episode aired tonight and it is on every Saturday night at 10 PM Eastern. There was not anything new aired here, but again there were a lot of very decent film clips and good music. Tonight's episode featured the recording of the Carter Family and Jimmie Rodgers on that one legendary weekend and their influence on Country Music.

Sorry Conrad, not much mentioned about the Irish. And for you other critics, I'm sure there wasn't enough of anything that couldn't have been done better, yada,yada,yada...............

I'll watch anyway.
