English or Anglo are versatile enough in their own ways, and are much more readily available. Singers tend to use English (though I use both!), dance musicians tend to use Anglo. Ultimately it's really down to which you 'fancy' - don't expect to play a concertina well unless you are prepared to have a love affair with it!! |
