While doing a hardware upgrade, most of the list "went missing" and I'm now trying to reconstruct it. Thanks, Paddy, for keeping this heavy task up! I have one request, though: Would you mind posting the list of books you draw on once you've got your address list back in shape? There are a good many whose author and short title tell me nothing, and sometimes I'd like to follow up your quotes for more info. All the best, Susanne

I just saw a map of planned museums for the City of New York, including one in lower Manhattan commemorating "The Irish Hunger". Anyone have more details? Maybe, Mudcat can provide a history of music of the times. Maybe even performances. Maybe even paid performances - Larry, are you listening???
