The second verse of the Brahms Lullaby goes like this:

Lullaby, and good-night,
May angels of light,
 spread their wings   'round your bed,
 and guard you from dread.
Slumber gently and sweet
 in the dreamland of sleep,

Dunno if this is what was in your mind or not.
