Subject: Music (sound) editing software From: GUEST,JTT Date: 14 Sep 02 - 04:11 AM Another question for the nephew, if you'd be so kind. He records from the radio a lot, using a D-Link radio on his PC and transferring the recordings to CDs with a burner later. Dead handy, because you can actually time the recordings, so you can tape (as it were) a programme when you're out at work. But he'd like to find some software that will allow him to save only the five minutes that he wants to keep - let's say, the actual recording of Joyce reading from Finnegans Wake, not the 50 minutes of academics maundering on about its deep meanings that surround that five minutes. What's the best software for this, and what's the best for sampling and chopping and using pieces of recording, |
