Subject: Why Was It Called Centre 42? From: Peter T. Date: 15 Nov 03 - 08:39 AM Reading the excellent notes on an Anne Briggs collection album (Colin Harper, take a bow) just purchased, there is extensive reference made to the travelling show sponsored by the TUC called Centre 42 in the early 60's. Any reminiscences would be appreciated, but immediately the question is: Why was it called Centre 42? Inquiring minds want to know. yours, Peter T. |
