Auchtermuchty campsites

I'm going up to Auchtermuchty for the traditional music weekend (13th - 15th). My problem is that there are supposedly two campsites, one at either end of the place. One is supposed to be good for late night singabouts the other isn't. Unfortunatly when I was being told all this I was feeling a bit warm and fuzzy and I can't remember which was supposed to be which. Can anybody help (and tell me if it's dog friendly)?

I have only ever camped in the big(ish) site out of town after mates of mine reported people peeing on their tents and letting the tyres down on their caravans at the one beside the river. But if you can put up with that, I guess that's the one you are looking for. The big one outside the town is a bit quieter (not that that's ever stopped us...)

As far as I know, there's no problems with dogs at either of them.

given the current state of the weather, you might want to check the status of either campsite for waterloggedness....

Thanks for the tips, it's a wee camper so I'm not too bothered about weather, but I'll make sure to take a footpump and spare tyre.
