If anyone knows of an early 70's folk song that ends with the phrase; "moon don't go (clap-clap)", "moon don't go (clap-clap)", "moon don't go (clap-clap)" (...then progressively softer....),moon don't go, moon don't go, moon don't go...

We used to sing it in elementary school along with the PPM's "Bamboo"...good stuff!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

During this verse the group can respond with percussion instruments as well - woodblock, maracas, claves, tambourine etc are suggested.

At least, that's the way she does it on the record. I'm sure you can improvise, given the basic framework of the song.
