would more people play the british button box (BCC# with accordion bass) if there was a decent tutor book available. It is a much more logical prgression than the piano accordion for BC & CC# players wanting a greater range of tones, chords & bass along with a fully chromatic system. Alternatively does anyone know of a good tutor book for this system.

There's a short introductory tutorial here [www.johnkirkpatrick.co.uk] from a master of the instrument. I don't know if his video melodeon tutor says anything about the B/C/C# box - probbaly not as it's such a different instrument.

thanks treewind, JK's video doesn't cover the british button box (BCC#) Am considering writing a tutor myself but am very unsure as to potential demand so if anybody out there may be interested (no commitment at this stage either way) I would be pleased to hear from them. Also John Kirkpatrick and I are trying to compile a list of 3 row players for mutual support and the odd! gathering etc, so again anybody interested please contact me .
