Subject: What Music editor From: Ian Kirk Date: 29 Nov 98 - 12:10 PM Having just experimented with creating a tune in abc format I'd like to know any recommendations for software that will allow me to create tunes on a standard PC in ABC format from my MIDI keyboard. Thanks Ian |

If you are looking for a highly polished commercial program - I personally prefer "Cakewalk" over "Soundforge." Both have net ".com" sites. |

Subject: RE: What Music editor From: Alan of Australia Date: 30 Nov 98 - 07:59 AM G'day, Not cheap, but I use Musicator Audio which is a MIDI sequencer, notator (i.e. prints sheet music) and 16 track audio recorder (i.e. it's a recording studio). A bit quirky but very powerful. I've been using it for years now - my first version was a DOS version.
Cheers, |
