It was brought to my attention that MC fat is now believed to be dead - so I phoned him and his ghost said no it wasnt him.

Dumbarton police believed it was him but they should have known better since the only possession the body had was a £20 note

Jim - I nearly put this in the obit section but thought you could write your own better than I. To be believed dead once in a year is unfortuante but twice within 12 months is very careless my friend

Rumours of my death have been greatly exagerated. However this is the second time in a year i've been pronounced deceased. Last year at Cleckheaton someone came up to me and told me he had been informed that I had died. Now this year Dumbarton constabulary following up a message that had been relayed to them via my ex lodger who now lives in Japan, he had seen a news report about a body that had been washed up at Loch Lomond in September, they phoned my ex wife who said that if I was dead who had cooked her Christmas dinner this year !! I looked up the BBC news website which had an artists impression of someone who looks a little bit like moi but the give away is that he had a £20 note in his pocket and most folks who know about me and dosh know that that couldn't be true !!

Anyway How can he be broke hes just given himself a pay rise and hes travelling first class to Edinburgh on a train this weekend!!

I personally feel that we've lost a wonderful Mudcatter. I know I certainly enjoyed his posts. My condolences to all who knew him.

(I'm sure some of you want to believe he's not dead just because he says so, but I'm not so willing to believe he isn't just playing a cruel joke.)

I have been officially requested to prepare the body for its journey to the AFTERLIFE - I know not a nice job but somebody has to do it!!

So far I have thought about placing a number of ceremonial urns in the coffin ( it'll be a burial at sea as no one wants to dig a hole big enough for the QE2) I thought of urns containing different things - beer/ curry/ guitar strings/ sound of music video

any more suggestions?

If it's got to be burial at sea, can in not be in the North Sea? Maggie and I paddle in that sometimes.

If we put a loaf of bread in, Jim can do toast. There should also be plentiful supply of betting slips. Make sure that they are fireproof.

I'm really touched (or should that be rarely touched) by the lack of sympathy at my recent reported demise. I mean putting markers on my beloved Epi I say !! It could be that I'll just stick around as some kind of hologram or I may just become omnipresent and find out what you're all doing with my omnipresent eye. And by the way they was blue and white kecks or as someone else described they looked like a marquee so I was dubbed the Marquis de Fat Bastard.

Certainly Jim, I've got another similar and of course we still have photographs of the real Jim without hologram logo.
Over the next few weeks we will build up the site maninly with photographs especially of our trips to Ireland, I have dozens of decent pictures of our many tours. I will have to consult with my IT person (Christine) to see how we proceed. I do the words and the piccys she does techno stuff
