I once heard Liam O' Maonlai (sp?) of Hothouse Flowers sing the Lord's Prayer in Irish, sitting with him on the floor in the hallway of a Clarion hotel at 3 in the morning. |

Subject: RE: musical loves From: Giant Folk Eyeball (inactive) Date: 03 Aug 07 - 06:31 PM Concertina players who sound like the Velvet Undergound - which is most of the good ones when they build up a head of steam. It sends me into a state of almost hallucinatory bliss. No word of a lie. Cheers Nigel |
