the [SUBJECT] block not completely accurate...I know how to capture videos to HD and play on computer...

need help in burning VIDEO CD/DVD to play on STAND ALONE cd/dvd player...

my friend does not have a computer...

Google (ie research) a bit about DVD formats, and you'll soon be on your way. The truth is out there, and you'll learn more if you find out for yourself.

Not quite sure what you're asking Gene. Any cd/dvd processed on a computer should play on a stand alone without problem.

Do you mean that you have no software (just as an example, Nero) on the pc to burn the dvd's?

If you can expand, I'm sure the wealth of Mudcat experience will be brought to bear!

What type of computer?

What type of software?

If you have a CD burner - it came with default software.
Have you ever burned ANYTHING before?
Do you have the paper work that came with your machine>
It can be as simple as a "desktop" drag and drop
