Any drummers out there or does anyone know of anyone suitable for a paid gigging band in Yorkshire? Currently booked for gigs on June 29, Juky 5, July 9, Leeds Irish festival and others and aim to play regularly.

We play a mixture of Irish music including standards and jigs and reels to more modern music by the likes of the Waterboys, U2, Saw Doctors, Pogues; also material by Dylan - Ralph McTell - Counting Crows.

Two of us are based just outside York, one nr Pontefract and one in Cleckheaton and most of the gigs are somewhere in between. Current line up is fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass with other instruments played by each.

I have various examples of what we play including a CD of a live gig from Saturday for anyone interested. PM me or leave some form of message if you can help.

There is a Myspace page at here which has a short demo of about 15 songs which I put together a while ago which gives some idea of what we play and to which I'll hopefully upload a few other things including a short bit of video of the audience waving their mobile phones in the air to 'Clare to Here' the other night (eat your heart out U2!)

If anyone is interested let me know asap as time is quite pressured!

Do you want a drummer with a full kit or a bodhran player?
