I requested these lyrics before. My system was down for a while, so I'm sorry if I missed any helpful posts. I'm looking for lyrics to a song I heard years ago. It started "The cold wind off the mountains is callin' soft to me. The smell of scented heather brings bitter memories." That, and the title, is about all I remember. I appreciate any help.

Muse, If you know a good key word, you can retrieve old threads by using either the filter/age boxes at the top of the page, or by the search box to your left of the filter box. You used the spelling 'O'Golden' before so that's what I used* to find Shanagolden The lyrics are on your original thread.

Would this be a song that has verses that end something like "by the Banks of Seanna Golden (sp?) on a cold summer's day" & has a tune somewhat remindfull of 'The 12th Of Never' maybe from the area of Donnegal? If so, I might be able to get the words from a friend that sings this. Barry
