had two good gigs and sold ten cds.One club paid me extra .well attended with some other good singers, two good clubs

The venue at Sileby is also a good real ale pub and is a interesting pub with lots of nooks and cranniesl, The Support act, John Stephenson was a good unaccompanied singer, good singing acoustics in both clubs

some difficulty travelling with lots of faults on trains, one train had to miss sheffield station, because the train had no working reverse gear

What a fabulous evening we had courtesy of Dick Miles who entertained us with stories and songs from his amazing life being immersed in the folk scene for decades. He was a great friend of Cyril Tawney, knew Harry Cox and mixed with other brilliant folk musicians during the 70's revival. Now living in West Cork he runs the Fastnet Maritime and Folk festival in Ballydehob. Check it out.
