It's faked. Sounds like a recorder, looks like a cane whistle, fingering has nothing to do with what you're hearing.

The tune is a well known Playford one.

The tune sounded vaguely familiar to me, especially the B part but I haven't heard the Childgrove tune very often. It's there somewhere in the back of my mind, so thanks Guest for identifying it.
