Subject: Obit: Tom Hehehan (PoppaGator)(1947-2026) From: Joe Offer Date: 22 May 26 - 01:52 AM PoppaGator was a very popular figure here at Mudcat for many years. Tom Henehan was born in New Jersey and went to school at Notre Dame, but he made his home in New Orleans for many years and called himself PoppaGator. I'll miss his humor and his wisdom. Here's Tom's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/tomhenehan Let's see if this link works to Tom's posting record: PoppaGator Rest in peace, Tom. -Joe- |

Subject: RE: Obit: Tom Hehehan (PoppaGator)(1947-2026) From: GUEST,Hey y'all this is babygator I guess- tom's s Date: 29 May 26 - 05:48 PM So great to stumble upon this thread. We're so sad to lose him but reading about the people he connected with in ay context helps with the sadness so thanks. 1 piece of news is that while dad's heart and lungs betrayed him, he kept his liver and both kidneys in good enough shape to live on inside 3 people who would not be alive with their families today without dad's final gifts to the world. We're celebrating dad Friday June 5th at 2pm at Carrollton station (8140 willow n.o.la.70128). We'll be screening dad's favorite movies Friday and Saturday night on a 20 foot screen/4k projector/surround sound in a speakeasy theater. All friends of Tom, virtual or irl, are welcome |
