Subject: Chord Req: Fisher;s Hornpipe From: PHJim Date: 11 Jun 26 - 11:16 PM I recall seeing some swing chords for Fisher's Hornpipe in the back of Richard Lieberson’s "Old-Time Fiddle Tunes for Guitar". I have loaned the book and can't recall who has it. If anyone could give me the swing progression from this book I would appreciate it. |

Subject: RE: Chord Req: Fisher;s Hornpipe From: PHJim Date: 12 Jun 26 - 01:15 AM Thanks a lot GUEST,20°. These are the standard chord changes for Fisher's Hornpipe. Richard Lieberson's changes are more jazzy with chord substitutions. |

Subject: RE: Chord Req: Fisher's Hornpipe From: Tattie Bogle Date: 17 Jun 26 - 06:47 PM Can’t imagine how it would sound with swing chords! I’m with Guest and play it in D using the 3-chord trick, as I don’t have lots of fancy chords on my B/C buttonbox! |

Plan B, maybe? :-) There might even be an online archived copy somewhere in the vast regions of the 'net. (A couple of suggestions from an ex-librarian. Sorry! Can't help my bookish impulses. LOL) |
