Tornadoes have swept across south-west Georgia, in the United States, killing at least 22 people and injuring more than 100.

It's good to be reminded from time to time why it's nice to be far enough from tornado central to spend many a winter morning digging out from under the white stuff.

Out here in San Diego, white stuff is whatthe print newspapers on. :>) My heart goes out to those who woke up to the sound of a tornado leveling their homes. I cannot imagine a more frightening situation.

we haven't heard about this in UK. My stepson is in Atlanta, was that affected much?

...it is so sad...this morning the local paper was filled with obituaries of those who died...the counties hardest hit are just north of here...we had very strong rain and thunder but thankfully no twisters...harpgirl
