Subject: Anybody want The Folksong Abecedary? From: mousethief Date: 20 Nov 00 - 11:27 AM I already have a copy, but a local used bookshop has a very good copy of the Folksong Abecedary (1966), HC DJ, in great shape (like it was never opened) except the spine of the DJ is faded. They want $17.50 (plus sales tax) for it. If anybody wants me to get it for them, I'd be happy to pick it up and mail it to you (upon receipt of payment of course!). Let me know by PM or email (mousethief@yahoo.com) or in this thread.

Subject: RE: Anybody want The Folksong Abecedary? From: mousethief Date: 20 Nov 00 - 11:39 AM Okay, MMario, you win the auction (isn't this so much easier than Ebay?). Sales tax in these parts is a whopping 8.4% so the total should be near $19.00, and the shipping should be right around $3, for a total of $22. Email me and I'll send you my PO box # for payment, or you can pay me with paypal. Alex |

Subject: RE: Anybody want The Folksong Abecedary? From: aussiebloke Date: 21 Nov 00 - 07:14 PM Abecedarian is a great word - there is the notion of the abecedarian insult - we have all heard of some poor child being named abecedarianally - and a folkie mate o' mine sings the Sailors Alphabet, revealing the full abecedarianess of the song....
