Subject: UK Mudcatters - Brighton Singaround
From: coriander
Date: 20 Dec 00 - 01:50 PM

I have no managed to find a venue to host an all day singaround session in Brighton. The date will be the second Saturday in February. Any interested Mudcatters welcome to join us! Not sure what time we will kick off - will post further details as we sort them! If anyone needs B&B, one of our folk club regulars runs a B&B - I think they have 9 rooms. Anyone who wants details - let me know. cori

Can you give us the name of the pub?

The pub is the Leconfield Arms in Edward Street. We haven't sorted a start time yet - probably about 1pm. There should be a free drink for all performers, and possibly a buffet provided. We are still in early stages of organisation - will post details as and when.

Dear Coriander,

Any further news on the singaround - cos it would be this weekend wouldn't it?

'Twould be good! We (as in me n' a couple of friends are thinking of starting a monthly club in Worthing if there's anyone Brighton who could bear to make "the sacrificial journey" (deftly put by Richard Thompson at his gig here last year) from B'ton to Worthing.

YOur singaround tho'. If not now maybe later this year??

Best wishes, Hille
