Subject: Chord Req: Macpherson's Rant From: GUEST,ParaHandy Date: 05 Dec 02 - 01:45 PM Was wondering if anyone could help me out with chords for The Corries version of Macpherson's Rant? I think they played it capoted (is there such a word?) at the 5th fret.... Many thanks in advance. |

Subject: RE: Chord Req: Macpherson's Rant From: curmudgeon Date: 05 Dec 02 - 05:41 PM I also sing this song in F, but unaccompanied unless there is a good fiddler around. Fiddlers who are also singers are by far the best. Personally, I wouldn't use the C7, but rather a staraight C. IMHO, 7th chords are too rich for trad and tend to distract the listener from the song -- Tom |
