A random Thought for the Day:

For the past month or so, I have had a cup of hot water, first thing in the morning, with a couple of teaspoons of raw vinegar stirred in, along with a bit of raw, unfiltered local honey. It is a quiet time for me, the drink itself is healthful and its warmth is a welcome way to greet the chilly day during this time of year.

I have used a blue cup the past two days. It's not cobalt blue, lighter than that, almost a Wedgewood blue, but slightly deeper, an in-between colour. Anyway, as I stir the honey to the point of dissolution, I then take the spoon out and let the *waters* subside. I don't know if it is because of the cup's colour, but in these two days, I have noticed the *foam* from the honey sits on top of the settled liquid. It looks just like a vast mountain range from on high, from an airplane; a bird's-eye view. It looks like what I've seen of the Himalayas in films and the Rockies from an actual plane ride.

So, each morning, I am reminded of the vastness of the Universe in a relatively small mug, made manifest through a sweet and sour alchemy.

Good morning!

Thanks,

kat

Ah -- but zen again, what is the sound of one paw scratching?

Lovely reflections, kat, thank you!
