Subject: BS: A theolgical querry for Steve Sedbury... From: InOBU Date: 08 Apr 03 - 06:03 PM My dear brother Steve: The other day, in asking if Rachel Corrie, who gave her life for the sake of another was a Christian, you proposed the following "Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation now or ever. Believe it. Sing it. Preach it. There is only one God but there are many erroneous views of God. Yet we have freedom of choice...." So, here is the question, true story... as the World Trade Center burned, a man was left behind who was in a wheal chair. When he could not get his fellow office workers to help carry the man down, a devote Jewish fellow stayed behind, knowing his life was likely forfit, but he could not bear the idea that his office fellow would die alone and abandoned. Now, statistically I would emagine that a number of those who walked away from this scene were Christians... to ask the question Christ asked in the story of the good Samaritan, who was that man in the wheel chairs brother in God? Yours in the light Larry |
