Yesterday, we were in a Park 'n Fly van at the Toronto Pearson airport, on our way home from Nova Scotia - and at one stop, a couple of guys climbed in with what looked like fiddles, an elecric keyboard, and some luggage. One of the guys sat down beside us. I asked him what band he was with. He answered, "Leahy". The band was on its way home from performing at the Minnesota Irish Fest in Minneapolis. He asked us about the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, and we talked all the way back to the parking lot. Nice way to end a trip!

And of course, you can count on their names being Leahy.

I hadn't checked in there in quite a while. I see they are working on a DVD ~~ no scheduled completion date yet. Should be good.

It was Donnell who sat beside us, and Angus was there too, and also 2 women, with babies, but neither of the women looked like Natalie. All Leahys by birth or by marriage, to be sure. It's quite a family.

And here's the web page for the Minnesota Irish Fair. Scroll over to the right side of the page to see the headliners Leahy and Flogging Molly.

(Why do they make web pages so wide you have to scroll sideways?)
