Subject: Review: In Praise of Fat Fingers From: Larkin Date: 11 Nov 04 - 01:22 PM Anybody tried Fat Fingers- it's a little brass gadget that you put on your guitar ( or banjo) headstock and it doesn't half improve the sound. I went to my local guitar shop enquiring about gettin a brass nut fitted to my Taylor 314 to get a bit more out of it ( it's pretty good already). They suggested Fat fingers and I am amazed by it . It has improved the tone, the guitar sounds more balanced and it's louder. Best 19 quid I've spent in ages. Anybody else tried 'em. Martin |

Subject: RE: Review: In Praise of Fat Fingers From: Mooh Date: 13 Nov 04 - 11:00 AM For a while these were advertised in the guitar press, and seemed to be on the up and up. I've never felt my guitars needed the help so never checked 'em out. They seemed to be marketed towards the electric guitar user, or was that just my assumption? Peace, Mooh. |
