I've been away for a few days and in catching up with the papers was saddened to hear that Chuck Berry's wonderful accompanist and one time bandleader Johnnie Johnson died last week.

One of the absolute all-time greats, and a massive influence on Chuck Berry and therefore on practically every rock guitarist ever.

Criminally abused and neglected for much of his career.
