I've been trying to remember the name of the manic Australian woman who performed at Beverley FF a couple of years ago. I liked her music, but she struck me as the sort of person you wouldn't want to be left alone with for long.

I seem to recall her telling us she was brought up on a remote cattle station in the Australian outback?

Yes it was Merri-May. Funny how you can recognise a name when you see it but can't remember it for love nor money (not that nayone tried either of those on me).

Thanks for the link to the web site - she seems to be keeping well away at the moment :-(
