1. Soon as this new administration got in, I knew I'd make out swell,
Livin' high off the taxpayer dollar, makin' wars and raisin' hell,
Man said, "Here's your kickback for the latest monkeyshine,:"
Told him, "Just pass it under the table to me"—and I got mine.

You gotta be a Republican to get rich by design,
Poor folks think we're a-workin' for them, let me lay it on the line,
We're rippin' 'em off and a-hoggin' the trough, an' I got mine.

2. This country got too much democracy, we're takin' care of that,
Anybody try to claim their rights, we'll bash 'em with a baseball bat,
Announce another emergency, get everybody cryin',
While they ain't lookin' I'm in there crookin', 'cause I got mine.

I'm a-takin' out fancy women, an' treatin' 'em like a swine,
This country can go to hell and gone, in fact that suits me fine,
I'm a-pickin' up the pieces an' holdin' the leases, yes, I got mine.

3. We're holdin' a new election, got it rigged for us to win,
We got a lock on majority stock in the machines we're puttin' in,.
Most voters scarcely notice, and the rest have got no spine,
It's comic relief just hearin' 'em beef, 'cause I got mine.

Anybody gets in my way, I force 'em to resign,
I'm rollin' in the National Debt, drinkin' diamonds with my wine,
Playin' "Hail to the Chief" and a-givin' you grief, well, I got mine.

4. We know how to stay in office, it works, and without fail,
Just bring in the Army and stand 'em off, and then throw all the people in jail,
If that don't work we'll bring out the bombs: I-ran, Syria, and Palestine,
If it comes to a battle I'll just skedaddle, 'cause I got mine.

We're tearin' up the Constitution, that's the bottom line,
I'm laughin' like a hyena, hearin' you people whine,
